Veterans receive entrepreneurial training
Veterans of all eras and their spouses are invited to Boots to Business Reboot June 29-30 at the SBA office in Harlingen. The free two-day entrepreneur training is for all service-members, including members of the National Guard and Reserves.
The training program provides an overview of business ownership as a career vocation, as well as an outline and knowledge on the components of a business plan. A practical exercise in opportunity recognition is addressed, along with an introduction to available public and private sector resources.
Registrants attend two-step training in an introduction to entrepreneurship and foundations of entrepreneurship. SBA Network business advisors, professors and SBA partners lead each program.
The SBA Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office is located at Gas Light Center Plaza, 2422 East Tyler, Ste. E.
