How Will the New Tax Code Affect Your Business?

How Will the Tax Reform Affect Me? seminarNow that Congress has passed the new tax code, now is the time to look at how changes effect both you and your business. The McAllen Chamber of Commerce presents a “Breakfast & Learn” discussion on the new bill with partners of Burton McCumber & Cortez LLP Jan. 19. The seminar will review the highlights of the changes to the tax code and its impact.

Things to know before the bill becomes law are:

  • Individual provisions expiring by the end of 2025, but most of the corporate provisions will be permanent
  • The elimination of personal exemptions, caps state and local tax deductions
  • Eliminating the mandate for personal health insurance, plus much more.

“How Will the Tax Reform Affect Me?” takes place from 8-9:30 a.m. at the McAllen Chamber, 1200 Ash Ave. Attendance carries a $15 fee for McAllen Chamber members, $20 for non-members.
